Judy and Maria’s First Impression of the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso:  Every time we visit a new Iberostar hotel we make a comment that the hotel is more spectacular than the last.  We have followed the construction of the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso since day one.  In our minds we tried to visualize what the new hotel would be like.  We knew the Iberostar Grand Hotel would be a a great hotel and that it would be comparative to the Iberostar Paraiso Maya or the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, of which both are spectacular!  Well, believe it or not, the architects and designers of the “new” Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso have outdone themselves!  From the moment we entered the hotel we were taken aback with the grandeur and design of the hotel.  We truly did not know whether to look ahead, up, or down as we were mouthing the word “spectacular” simultaneously.  To our left was the black and white theme of the Rhapsody Music Bar.  To our right was the red and gold design of the reception area, and straight ahead of us was a huge atrium complete with palm trees, light streaming through the ceiling, bright flowers and the sounds of flowing water emanating from the fountains - peace, tranquility and solitude.

The distinctive mixture of building materials incorporated in the design of the hotel brings to the forefront a feeling of elegance, sophistication, and warmth.  Each arriving guest is embraced with the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso's  "wow"  factor!  The new Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso is truly a regal site to behold.  We were truly impressed with this hotel and we are excited to be able to to begin sale to this brilliant hotel.

The Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso is Iberostar's first adults only all suite resort with extraordinary service and amenities.  The hotel will offer 120 Oceanfront Junior Suites, 45 ocean view suites, 135 Standard suites and 10 secluded villa suites.  All suites will offer Jacuzzis for two, satellite TV with DVD players, CD clock radio, iPod/MP3 compatible docking station.  Fine European bedding and linens with nightly turn down service.  Marble bathrooms with his and her vanity, top of the line Gilchrest & Soames amenities, bathrobes and slippers.  Fully stocked mini bars including mini bottles and 24-hour deluxe room service menu.  All suites will offer butler and concierge services which includes welcome check-in with cold towel and champagne, personalized pillow menu, personalized in-room mini bar and liquor preference, evening cocktail service, restaurant reservations, spa, golf and activities reservations, shoe shine service and daily newspaper delivery.  The oceanfront suites will also include personalized in room check-in with cold towel and champagne, luggage unpacking and packing, nightly pressing service, private internal resort complex transportation, personalized dining services from reservations and menu selection to seating.  Personalized daily breakfast from a full breakfast menu and breakfast in bed on request. Personalized check-out assistance. Guests will also be given a complimentary round of golf for 4 or less nights and two free rounds for five nights or more at the Playa Paraiso Golf Club.

The Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso ^{by Judy and Maria}

Grand is the appropriate word for Iberostar’s new hotel named the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso.   The exterior architecture is Roman / Greek, as you will notice in our photos The interior of the hotel features grand staircases and wide corridors. The junior suite accommodations are all about fine details. A hallway in the suite separates the luxury bathroom from the bedroom area.  The bathroom is decorated with marble countertops and glass features.  In the center of the bathroom is a whirlpool bath and on either side of the bath are separate glass enclosed areas with the shower and toilet.

The décor of each junior suite is bright and features fine fabrics, rich woods, artwork, marble flooring, and contemporary light fixtures.  The sitting area is separated from the bedroom by one step.  Guests will be able to relax on a beautiful leather lounge and enjoy quiet time and the scenic views through the glass doors leading to the balcony or terrace.  The balcony or patio features a table, lounge and a double hanging wicker swing.
