We have visited and vacationed at the Iberostar Bavaro Resort many times and we have never been disappointed in the resort.  The lobby presents arriving guests with a spectacular first impression of sophistication.  One immediately senses an acknowledgement that their choice of the Iberostar Bavaro Resort was, in fact, an excellent one.  Arriving guests will peruse the expansive open-aired lobby with polished marble floors, brightly upholstered furniture, hand-carved wood, iron chandeliers, artwork, and the large wooden horse at the entrance of the lobby.  One immediately begins to unwind and relax with the anticipation of being able to vacation at this beautiful resort complex!

Iberostar Bavaro Resort Lobby

Location

The Iberostar Bavaro Resort is located on the beautiful beach of Punta Cana, lined with palm trees. Transfer time from Punta Cana airport around 45 minutes. The Iberostar Bavaro Resort complex consists of the Iberostar Bavaro, Iberostar Dominicana and Iberostar Punta Cana.  All the complex facilities are at guests’ disposal.  With all three resorts situated side-by-side along an immense stretch of Bavaro Beach, the Iberostar properties practically form a town unto themselves. Located on the Southeast coast, the resorts are about 14 miles from the airport and 34 miles from Higuey.

Accommodations

The Iberostar Bavaro Resort consists of 590 elegant Junior Suites with living room, sofa and bedroom (1 king-size bed or 2 double beds).  All suites are equipped with satellite TV, safety deposit, air conditioning, minibar with soft drinks and beer (restocked every 2 days) and a balcony or terrace.  The guest rooms are decorated in a tropical decor and are clean, comfortable and fresh.

Note:  Room safes are an additional fee of $2.00/day.

Restaurants

24-hour all-inclusive service includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as local drinks and a selection of international drinks.  There's no admission charge to the disco and the casino (drinks at the casino not included).

Note:  Men must wear long pants for dinner and reservations required for ala carte restaurants.
A la Carte restrictions:  1 reservation for 3-4 nights, 3 reservations 5-7 nights.  

The restaurants in the Iberostar Punta Cana Resort complex offer guests varied dining options and sumptuously prepared meals -- a true Iberostar gastronomical experience!

Pools and Beach

The Iberostar Bavaro Resort is situated along an immense stretch of beautiful white sand beach, dotted with swaying tropical palms and bordering along warm turquoise waters. There is direct access to the beach, with an exciting variety of water sports and shaded palapas.  The resort features an extensive pool area near the beach with hammocks, beach umbrellas and towels included, an activity center, and poolside bar with snack service. You will enjoy the true meaning of paradise within the cool waters of the fantastic lake-style free form swimming pool, surrounded by towering palms, complete with a comfortable swim-up bar. There is also a separate pool area just for kids.

In a nutshell, the Iberostar Resort complex in Punta Cana offers guests spectacular pools and a large stretch of white sand beach to be enjoyed by all!

Golf

Cocotal Golf and Country Club  (additional charge)
There is an 18 and a 9 hole course with driving range, pro-shop, rental equipment and golf academy (tee times between 8 am and 3 pm). The 18-hole measures 3380 (Slope 131)from the Gold, 3203 (Slope 130) from the Blue and 2993 (Slope 126) from the White.

The Iberostar Bavaro has it all!  The lobby has a nice feel with the marble floors, wood furniture, art, and open-aired atrium.  The Iberostar Bavaro Resort is located in the midst of a tropical paradise -- lush, well-manicured grounds with tall palms swaying in the breeze.  The resort features a large white sand beach overlooking the crystal-clear turquoise sea that sparkles in the sunlight.  Palapas and ample shade are provided throughout the resort complex.  The Iberostar Bavaro Resort features a huge swimming pool with swim up pool bar.  Lucy's Mini-Club will keep the youngsters busy with constructive activities and, of course, babysitting can be arranged for the infants.   The Iberostar Bavaro offers guests a fabulous dine-around-program with full dining exchange privileges at 10 restaurants throughout the complex -- dining options are available for all ages.
