The lobby of the Barceló Bavaro Palace Resort presents an impressive Latin American decor with the art deco metal sculptures, wicker furniture, tropical plants, and a soft, fragrant breeze flowing through the open-air lobby -- Dominican modern. The resort has a very nice flow from the lobby -- through the restaurant area, entertainment area, the bars, to the free-form swimming pool and then onto the beach. We immediately noticed that this resort was very active and fun.

The Beach: The immense coral reef of the only true Bavaró Beach in Punta Cana creates an unforgettable natural aquarium where you can explore extraordinary underwater vistas while swimming amidst exotic tropical fish of every species.
