All About the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort

The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort is situated on a mile of magnificent white-sand beach sweeps along the Caribbean Sea. The location doesn't get better than this, for Bavaro Beach is why Punta Cana has become the "Number One Beach Destination."  The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort is placed in unspoiled beauty of cascading feathery fronds of hundreds of coconut palms and on a carpet of lush tropical gardens. An off shore reef, with sunlit whitecaps of gentle waves, creates a coral barrier around smooth turquoise water. Swimming, snorkeling, sailing -- are the pleasures.

Palladium 'is the top-of-the-line" brand name for the Fiesta Hotels Chain from Ibiza Spain, and denotes quality, consistency and service.

The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort, in particular, integrates 80 acres of spectacular foliage and has been constructed preserving the natural habitat.  The ambiance and structures of thatched roofed restaurants along with the soft toned villas enhance the property.  As the Grand Palladium Palace and Grand Palladium Resorts are adjacent, one flowing into the other, the facilities of the other two Resorts are offered to guests of the Grand Palladium.

There are 62 two story bungalows of 8 rooms per unit, and 28 one-floor units (5 two-floor villas of twenty eight rooms) with a Dominican style facade like local houses, which creates a charming appearance. There are a total of 636 rooms of which 372 are junior suites. Rooms have a king size bed or two queen size beds, an in-room safe (no fee), a full bathroom, hairdryer, mini-bar with soft drinks, water and beer replaced 3 times per week, satellite TV, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea maker, Pay-Per-View TV (fee) and Video Games (fee), balcony or patio.  Junior suites are beautifully appointed with polished wood, with same features as listed, have king bed plus a living area with double sofa bed. The bathroom has large circular tub with hydro-massage, two sinks and a separate shower. (Super two-room suites offer deluxe room and junior suite combined.)

Formerly the Fiesta Bavaro Beach Resort, the Grand Palladium Bavaro is situated on one of the best stretches of world famous Bavaro Beach.  Since 2004, Fiesta Hotels and Resorts have continued improving the current resort with an ongoing multi-million dollar room and resort renovation.

The Grand Palladium Resort has 62 two-story bungalows with each floor consisting of three junior suites and one deluxe guest room.  In addition, there are 4-two-story villas with 28 deluxe rooms on each of the two floors.

All guest rooms offer air-conditioning, full bath with shower, satellite color television with remote, telephone, hair dryer, mini refrigerator, safety deposit box, iron and ironing board, patio or balcony.

Grand Palladium Bavaro Romance Suites

The “Adults Only” Romance Suites are located closest to the beach and are all located on the ground floor.  Romance Suites offer a garden and/or sea view, full patio, one 4-poster king-size bed, hydro massage tub for two and a unique private “outdoor” covered shower enclosure featuring a hammock for two, a mini bar that is restocked 3 times per week with beer, soda and water.

Grand Palladium Bavaro Deluxe Rooms

The deluxe rooms are garden view and feature a patio or a balcony, one king bed or two double beds and sleeps a maximum of 2 adults in existing bedding.  124 rooms are configured with king beds.  The deluxe rooms at the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort were renovated in the summer of 2004.  The deluxe rooms feature a mini bar that is restocked 3 times per week with beer soda and water.  Ocean view rooms are available (fee).

Grand Palladium Bavaro Junior Suites

Garden view with patio or balcony, two double beds or one king bed and queen size sofa bed / pull out.  The junior suites sleep a maximum of 4 adults or 3 adults and two children ages 12 and under.  King beds are available upon request and are subject to availability.  The junior suites were renovated fall of 2003.  The junior suites feature a mini bar restocked 3 times per week with beer, soda and water. Ocean view available on request (fee).

Grand Palladium Bavaro Family Suites

The family suites are a junior suite with an adjoining deluxe room as described under junior suite, and offers an adjoining door between the junior suite and deluxe room. 

Grand Palladium Bavaro Fiesta Sports Bar

The Fiesta Sports Bar, located across from the main entrance to the lobby of the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort.  The Sports Bar is fully air-conditioned, features 6 satellite color televisions, a wide screen TV, serves a selected menu of grilled items and pizza, salad bar, bar, pool table, foos ball table, internet corner (fee) and an outdoor patio for evening dining.
